Hey Freinds,

I am excited for December because we are going to have 2 great nights of youth group as we learn about Jesus- birth, life, ministry, and death.

Dec. 16 is our christmas party and movie night at the church. Any good movie ideas?

And, who can forget, our All nighter is approaching. The Rockin Lock-in at Fairfield Presbyterian Church for New Years Eve- Dec. 31 - Jan. 1.

Bring your friends to these things so we can continue to have a blast together.

Well in youth group we heard the story of the Passover (Exodus 5-15).

Check it out in your Bible and read some of that story again...

What a powerful story that talks about God rescuing Isreal from slavery by sending those nasty and deadly plagues to Egypt.

The best part was that Israel was not harmed and God even gave them light in their homes when he sent the plague of darkness...

Where is there darkness in our daily life or world around us that needs the light of God? Comment below lets chat this up...

Rock Climbing, Seriously... that is going to be FUN!

Everyone is invited,

we are going indoor rock climbing at Peak Experience...

Nov. 21, Saturday, from 1-6PM
Meet us at the church and be dropped back off at the church.

What you need to know:
$10 gets you dinner, climbing, and a harness
$12 gets you all of that plus climbing shoes
make sure to bring friends
fill out the risk form and medical form that came in the mail
(if you didnt get it ask Ryan for one at youth group)

A question from Scripture???

Hey friends,

So in youth group I told you all to go home and check out the story of the Flood in Genesis 6-9.

Here are the questions of the day:

1. What is a Nephilim? (found in Genesis 6:1-5)
2. What do we learn about ourselves from this story? (Genesis 6-9)

What are we doing?

We come together as friends on Wednesday nights at the church from 6:30-7:30PM.

It is here at youth group, ages 6th-12th grades, that we are "Bible Storying".

Bible storying is simply telling 13 stories, one story each night, from the Bible. Each story is a part of the Big Story which is the BIBLE. I hope we can all learn the big story of how God created us, cared for us, died for us, and wants to have a relationship of love with us.

Besides storying we also have snacks, games, and great adult volunteers.
